Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Supervisor, Safety and Security
Responsibilities You will be responsible to:
carry out all security and safety related duties/tasks at AKUH / Offsite & Outreach Campuses.
exercise effective supervision of all guards/drivers in his area of responsibility and ensures that the staff carries out their duties effectively & with optimum safety.
prepare and maintain up to date record of all security operations and activities in the respective documents/logbook (as offsite/CC&D desk in charge).
ensure roadworthiness of vehicle through inspection/ document check of the vehicle before moving.
gather the information about the prevailing security situation, any planned/sudden developments/ gathering/ protest etc. in area of responsibility and pass on the same to security information and reporting Centre (SIRC)/Manager.
perform as in-charge of cash collection & deposit /escort vehicle to ensure 100% safe ops.
perform as in-charge of Emergency response team to ensure timely response at offsite & outreach Campuses.
carry out initial/preliminary investigation of all security and safety incidents occurred in his area.
carry out training, inspection & check documents of the guards/weapons to ensure alertness, vigilance & availability of all required items.
promptly report any incident, fire, road accident and/or theft to the manager/coordinator and SI&RC or control supervisor on duty.
promptly report & resolve issues related to road accident (CC&D vehicles) in the area of responsibility.
assist security guard in public dealing and when assistance is sought by them.
exercise vigilance and see that no unauthorized person enters the area of responsibility.
Requirements You should have:
matric (Intermediate / higher Preferred)
minimum of 22 years’ experience as trained soldier/combatant in the Pakistan Armed Force (Rangers, Frontier Corps, Frontier Constabulary, Coast Guard) at the level of Junior-Commissioned Officer (with Age less than 50 years).
experience of serving in SSG & Intelligence units would be preferred.
