Position Summary

The Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology (BARA) is seeking a highly
motivated research aide to work with BARA faculty, graduate students, interns, and local community organizations
to develop and expand BARA's current partnerships with academic, government, and non-governmental institutions in Santa Cruz and Pima
counties, Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with literature reviews.
  • Assist with
    ethnographic fieldwork and the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Help maintain project databases.
  • Facilitate
    the communication among project partners and BARA researchers and interns.
Knowledge, Skills,
& Abilities
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with academic literature reviews
    and creating bibliographies.
  • Experience with ethnographic research, including data collection, analysis, and report writing.

  • Experience working with community organizations
