Jobs in this career family provide direct professional support for the teaching and/or
educational service mission of the university. Functions include academic advising/counseling, student personnel administration, recruitment
and admissions, registration, financial aid, faculty affairs, library services, curriculum administration, and others involving direct
support of the educational mission of an academic unit.

Program Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of a
program, function or work unit, including the development and implementation of processes consistent with college, school or departmental
strategies and processes. These positions typically do not supervise others.

Position Emphasis:
/>Inworks at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus, invites qualified individuals to apply for a part-time (50%)
position as Clinical Prototyping Manager (CPM). The CPM will work primarily at the Anschutz Medical Campus Inworks facility, with more or
less weekly presence required at the downtown Denver Inworks facility. The CPM reports to the Inworks Associate Director, Anschutz Medical
Campus. Responsibilities include working with AMC faculty, students, clinicians and research staff to oversee clinical/research support
project implementation from idea to working prototype. The CPM will lead, facilitate and support the process of transforming ideas into
innovations for and by those in the health ecosystem of the Anschutz Medical Campus. The CPM will also manage efforts to provide direct
support to heath care practitioners who seek to create clinical innovations, and will actively support the teaching and service missions of
Inworks.

Salary and
Benefits:


The hiring range for this position has been established at $27,500 to $32,500 and is commensurate with skills
and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A
    bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive experience
    with modern prototype design and fabrication processes and tools, including advanced design software and both additive and subtractive
    fabrication methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing prototype solutions at a medical
    facility that support both research and patient-specific needs
  • Knowledge and experience with FDA medical device approval
    processes
  • Instructional experience in a workshop / makerspace environment
  • Demonstrated experience and success in
    interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Personal traits that reflect a creative intellect: empathy, curiosity, integrative thinking,
    optimism, collaboration and a bias toward action and experimentation
