Job Description
Prepare for and teach 15 credit hours per semester in the Mathematics Department, ranging from
Fundamentals of Mathematics to Differential Equations and Business Statistics. Hold required office hours. Perform other duties expected of
full-time faculty, including developing and revising curriculum, developing and implementing assessment of student learning outcomes,
developing and maintaining relationships with academic partners participating in college and department meetings, serving on committees, and
other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics.

Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Required Experience
  • has a demonstrated strong teaching ability,
  • has a demonstrated knowledge of and commitment
    to the teaching mission of a comprehensive community college,
  • has a strong understanding of the changing landscape of higher
  • is comfortable collaborating with faculty and students,
  • minimum of one year teaching experience,

  • familiar with technology used in and education setting.
Preferred Experience:
  • minimum of three (3)
    years teaching mathematics or statistics in a community college setting,
  • is comfortable engaging with faculty and students in other
