About the Role:
This is a full‑time, onsite position requiring the selected candidate to work night shifts aligned with U. S. Central Time (7 PM – 4 AM PKT).
We are seeking a skilled RCM Specialist to manage complete revenue cycle operations for psychiatry and behavioral health services under the U. S. healthcare system. This is a full‑time onsite role requiring night shift availability.
The selected candidate will oversee the end‑to‑end billing process—from claim preparation and submission to denial management, AR follow‑up, and payment posting. A strong understanding of psychiatric CPT/ICD codes, insurance guidelines, and medical billing software is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit accurate claims for psychiatry services, including therapy sessions, medication management, and psychiatric evaluations.
Ensure correct use of CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS codes, with expertise in psychiatry‑specific codes (e.g., 90791, 90833, 90834, 90837, 99213, 99214).
Submit electronic and paper claims to commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Conduct AR follow‑ups and manage aged claims to ensure timely reimbursements.
Investigate, resolve, and resubmit denied or rejected claims, addressing root causes.
Post payments (ERA/EOB), reconcile billing records, and apply necessary adjustments or write‑offs.
Collaborate with providers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and secure missing documentation.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and psychiatry billing regulations.
Generate billing status reports and assist the team lead in performance tracking.
Requirements
Intermediate/A‑levels or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred).
3–5 years of hands‑on experience in U. S. medical billing (RCM).
Availability to work night shifts (7 PM – 4 AM PKT).
Strong knowledge of the complete RCM cycle for mental health services.
Proficiency in EMRs and billing platforms (e.g., CMD).
In‑depth understanding of psychiatry billing codes, modifiers, and insurance protocols.
Experience in insurance verification, AR analysis, denial resolution, and payment posting.
Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
