Job Description: Directs and coordinates the activities of assigned personnel in Production Engineering Section. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authority at the level established by management for the position.
Investigates and troubleshoots any anomalies, irregularities or problems related to production facilities on any plant or process. Obtains and analyses relevant data on circumstances and situations and develops appropriate solutions or specifies requirements for additional information or specialist assistance.
Initiates, analyses, processes and provides technical input into the development of plant modifications or new facilities, from initial proposal inclusive of preparing "Statement of Requirements" (conceptual designs for projects) through to commissioning and start up, covering a diverse range; from the minor addition of a platform or walkway, or the redesign of a manifold or vessel; to the construction and installation of major new vessels, tanks and attention of related pipework, instrumentation and other existing facilities.
