Job ID: 3203175 | Q-Express Documents Transport To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network. Responsibilities Support the overall, daily management of operational duties and deputize for the Operations Manager as required. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet and exceed KPIs. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach when needed, partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations, and communicate with our delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality. Interview candidates for associate roles. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates; maintain attention to detail to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately; measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics to assist in tracking, trending and reporting on site performance. Help with training and mentoring new associates and resolve process-related issues as required. Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed. With the Operations Manager, ensure adequate resourcing of the function for training needs, absence management, coaching and monitoring of productivity, and related activities.
