Job Overview The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating and monitoring logistics operations such as inbound raw materials production coordination outbound deliveries and export documentation.
The role requires hands-on operational management team leadership and deep familiarity with local and international shipping procedures.
Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate daily dispatches of drums (bulk and finished goods) to local customers.
Manage inbound shipments of raw materials (paints steel fittings) ensuring timely arrival and storage.
Coordinate with production sales and procurement teams for delivery scheduling and inventory alignment.
Supervise a team of drivers warehouse assistants and loaders ensuring smooth warehouse and yard operations.
Monitor fleet availability maintenance and trip planning to ensure on-time deliveries.
Ensure all drums are delivered clean rust-free and compliant with customer specifications.
Prepare and verify shipping and customs documentation (delivery notes packing lists commercial invoices).
Oversee stock movement bin card updates and system entries.
Ensure compliance with local transport HSE and port regulations.
Troubleshoot delivery delays transport breakdowns and customer complaints.
Maintain records of logistics metrics fuel usage turnaround times and transport costs Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics transportation and warehouse management.
Prior experience in a manufacturing setup (drum/packaging industry preferred).
Good command over documentation and shipment planning.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve real-time operational issues.
