Stevens Institute of Technology is a university on

Position Description and
Responsibilities:

The Division of Communications and Marketing (DCM) at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ is
responsible for achieving multiple objectives and supporting multiple internal clients. Whether the DCM is helping to drive the growth of
applications from prospective undergraduate or graduate students, support fund-raising activities or help manage the reputation enhancement
efforts of the four schools at Stevens and the university overall, the marketing manager is integral to the process.

As a Marketing
Manager in the Division of Communications & Marketing (DCM) you will be in a very visible position interfacing with both Academic
leadership (deans, associate deans, program directors, etc.) and administrative leaders (VP division heads, AVPs, office directors, etc.).
This requires an ability to provide strategic recommendations in collaboration with the VP, AVP and Director of Digital Strategy and
Analytics, and then undertaking the hands-on execution and management of the tactics that will achieve results.

The Marketing Manager
position reports to the VP of Communications and Marketing but you will be working with a team of graphics designers, writers, digital
content strategists and others.

Requirements:
Analytical Thinker: It's imperative this candidate possess
critical thinking and strong analytical skills. They should be able to readily identify problems and formulate practical solutions.
Recommendations should be based on analysis.

Experience with Search Analytics is necessary: Prior experience with Google Analytics is
more than just helpful. This position involves building, managing and optimizing campaigns in Google and social media platforms. Google
AdWords Certification is desired but not mandatory.

In this position you will:

  • Plan and execute SEM/PPC
    digital marketing campaigns. Measure and report on the performance of campaigns using third party software tools.
  • Monitor and
    optimize SEM/PPC digital campaigns for performance.
  • Utilize third party competitive analysis tools to track competitive keywords
    and media spending.
  • Utilize keyword research tools for campaign planning.

Strong Project Management Skills - Stevens
has a volume of projects including but not limited to online and out-of-home advertising, collateral materials, landing page development,
email and direct mail campaigns, and efforts integrated with social media.

Experience with Advertising in all Formats -- The position
requires collaborating with internal and external graphic designers and writers. Knowledge of all digital, print, out-of-home and other
advertising formats is highly desired. Experience with building social media ad campaigns is particularly helpful.

Test, Learn,
Recommend: The position requires that the marketing manager be pro-active in making marketing/communications test recommendations and
reporting those results on creative concepts, keywords, landing pages, etc. while producing analyses in a broader marketing context


Great Communications Skills - There will be opportunities to present data and insights so solid written and oral communications skills
are necessary.

Self-Starter -- As the position entails multiple elements, the candidate should be a self-starter; someone who doesn't
require hand-holding. They should be able to assess a situation, develop a plan, get approval and run with it.

A Collaborative Work

Qualifications:
Candidates
should have a least a Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business or related area. At least three to five years of experience in
a marketing capacity is required. Experience in higher-education is preferred but not mandatory.
