Join our team as a Senior Power BI Developer and play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into powerful business insights. In this onsite position in Dubai, you will work within our Digital and IT department, collaborating with a dynamic, asynchronous team that values clear and effective written communication. As a leader in BI innovation, you will help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models tailored to business needs.
Translate multifaceted business requirements into robust BI solutions using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting requirements.
Optimize performance, scalability, and usability of Power BI reports for a seamless user experience.
Implement ETL processes and data warehousing solutions to consolidate and integrate data from diverse sources.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all BI deliverables.
Mentor junior BI developers, fostering best practices and technical excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.
Advanced proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, and Data Modeling.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing principles.
Proven ability to integrate data from SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with acute attention to detail.
Excellent written communication skills, essential for thriving in our async-first culture.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large-scale enterprise BI projects.
Familiarity with Azure Data Services, SSIS, SSAS, and other advanced BI tools.
Exposure to AI, predictive analytics, and cloud-based analytics platforms such as Azure Synapse and Power BI Premium.
