Solidus is searching for a Systems Integration Engineer. The successful candidate will join a group that specializes in advanced network and communications systems development, with a focus on rapid prototyping of radical next generation tactical mobile, military airborne communications systems. Responsibilities: The group is seeking to hire a systems integration engineer that will model, assemble and integrate prototype systems in both benchtop and experimental platforms. The group is developing novel communications systems and is looking to add to the team that will prototype and field test the technologies. Requirements: - Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.ship and the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance - BS plus 1 year minimum relevant experience, Associates Degree plus 3 years minimum relevant experience - Strong experience with RF radio HW in a laboratory environment including the ability to prototype and analyze multi-node systems. - Strong laboratory skills including experience with spectrum analyzers, DMMs, thermal systems, power systems and ESD environments. - Experience with scripting languages (i.e. TCL, Python, Bash) - Rapid software prototyping Preferred Skills - Preference will be given to candidates who can pick up concepts quickly and be able to generate SW to aid in data acquisition / analysis - Experience with DoD communications - Experience with MAC & IP layer test and analysis tools Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
