Work/Life (WL) provides individual and family life services and consultations to Cornell employees, students, retirees, and their
partners. WL also provides support to leaders and managers on integrating and leveraging workplace flexibility to maximize engagement and
address other university priorities. This often involves sensitive and private communications and requires a high level of professionalism
and compassion.

Reporting to the Associate Director of WL, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the
WL team. This includes logistical coordination of WL activities, promotion of activities and services, customer service, and working closely
with the HR Analytics team. This position submits financial transactions to be processed and generates financial reports. Provides editorial
support for written and online materials produced by WL. Maintains WL e-Lists and publishes the bi-weekly Parent Newsletter. Provides
technical support to WL team members. Supports the Cornell Retiree's Association (CRA) by maintaining the retiree contact lists, answering
general questions, and publishing the monthly Retiree Newsletter. These duties are to be fulfilled while taking into account all aspects of
family life, diversity, and sustainability.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree with 4-6 years of
related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, publication
software, web conferencing tools, email and calendaring systems. Must have strong proofreading, editing, written and oral communications
skills. Strong logistical skills and attention to detail. Highly organized and demonstrated ability to manage projects/programs from
inception to completion in a timely manner. Seeks opportunities for greater efficiency and increasing professional/technical skills in items
under preferred qualifications noted below. Experience working with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Demonstrated
ability to assist others in a professional yet compassionate manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

working for an institution of higher education. Experience with email newsletter tools, Constant Contact and Lyris. Experience with Cornell
accounting programs, Kuali and OBIEE. Experience with Cornell facility-management system, Maximo. Experience with website content management
systems, Drupal, WordPress, etc. In-depth experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel. Experience inputting surveys and extracting data
from survey tools such as Qualtrics or Survey Monkey. Experience hosting virtual meetings and webinars using platforms such as Zoom or Skype
and able to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
