Area of interest: Private Banking & Wealth Management
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Product Specialist – Fixed Income, to drive the advisory and distribution of Fixed Income in our Private Banking and Wealth solutions division. This role requires a deep understanding of Fixed Income, the ability to provide technical product comparisons, and strong market insights to support bankers, advisors and clients in making informed investment decisions towards meeting clients’ desired investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for executing the product strategy, driving, and delivering the Fixed Income numbers associated with the regions’ head.
Supporting the Wealth Solutions businesses in the Middle East as a unique provider of value-added financial services for Private bank client segment through formulation and implementation of group and country strategies to maximize profitability with compliant sales.
Be the subject matter expert for Fixed Income Solutions, providing guidance, technical comparisons between available products, assessing factors such as risk return profiles, performance, and strategies.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance product offerings, make available new fixed income instruments and strategies and optimize existing solutions based on client demand and market opportunities.
Conduct regular performance assessments of product ideas engaging with market, internal product teams, investment advisors and other necessary stakeholders toward maintaining the quality and relevance of our fixed income offerings.
Monitor and grow the fixed income portfolio in a stable and diversified manner (considerations for Product Concentration, Issuer Concentration, Geographical concentration, etc).
Collaborate with bankers, relationship managers and investment advisors to identify client needs and cross-sell suitable Fixed Income solutions in line with clients’ risk profile and investment objectives.
Serve as a key liaison between internal product teams, CMPS dealing and market execution teams and sales teams ensuring seamless communication and execution of product strategies.
Business
Drive the Fixed Income business ensuring strong support for clients’ investment decision making, meeting revenue targets, growing Fixed Income AUM and Net New Sales by providing the following:
Provide timely market updates and accurate product information to clients and stakeholders.
Monitor market movements, macroeconomic developments and provide regular and timely feedback to Bankers, Relationship Managers and clients.
Ensure prompt and accurate execution of clients’ orders through systems and/or market desks as may be applicable.
Actively provide guidance, training and support to Bankers and RMs on Fixed Income.
Keep abreast of competitors’ tactical mapping, pricing, product offerings and market intelligence.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies as applicable.
Project a high level of professionalism in all client engagements to uphold image of the Bank.

Collaboratively partner with risk teams to ensure risk management procedures and processes are effectively implemented to operate within operational and credit risk appetite.
Develop and implement appropriate rules and guidelines to ensure that all internal and external – legal, compliance and risk management requirements – are met.
Work collaboratively with countries and functions to ensure any audit findings are suitably rectified.
Governance
Responsible for understanding the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group/Country operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role, from a country perspective.
Maintain an adequate control environment and operational procedures to prevent loss arising from non-adherence to controls.
Monitor regulatory and market development and provide feedback on the market and the business to the sales and management team.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities associated with Investment products.
Provide policy guidance and product support to Wealth Management units across the region for local sales & distribution of Investment products.

Skills and Experience
Experience in Fixed Income Trading or Sales and Advisory within Private banking or Wealth Management.
Management with responsibilities for product management, ideation, investment process, investment systems and investment risk.
Technical Skills: Strong and extensive practical knowledge of Fixed Income, investment portfolio analysis and risk management. Ability to conduct detailed product comparisons and performance analysis.
Market Knowledge: Up to date on global investment trends, macroeconomics, and financial markets, with the ability to translate insights into actionable investment strategies.
Sales & Business Acumen: Proven track record of driving net new sales, revenue growth, and AUM expansion. Strong aptitude for sales, leads management and deal closure.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent ability to convey complex investment concepts to clients, Bankers, RMs, and Investment Advisors. Strong relationship-building skills.
Extensive knowledge of investment theory and practice, regulatory rules and procedures.
Strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and multicultural awareness and sensitivity.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to identify need for change, adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realizing market opportunities.
