Job Responsibilities Developing marketing strategies to match the position of the brands in their product life cycle.
Developing plans to market products through promotional campaigns, utilizing the full marketing mix as appropriate.
Undertaking complete analysis of the effectiveness of strategies and monitoring their implementation.
Full budgetary responsibility for ensuring promotional campaigns and activities are delivered within agreed spending limits.
Liaising closely with and influencing the sales management and sales team to ensure promotional campaigns are developed appropriately and delivered effectively.
Liaising closely with all support functions (including Finance, HR, customer services, manufacturing, and communications as well as with external agencies and area marketing).
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy.
Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions & effectively addresses the bottlenecks.
Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Managing the development of all direct reports through constructive, measurable appraisals, high-level coaching and growth plans.
