Overview of the role
To support the HRBP on the implementation of the People & Culture initiatives, while being a trusted advisor to all coworkers and managers on the store.
What you will do
Provide HR & admin support to the store management, including documentation & approval process, as per HRBP guidance and policies.
Work closely with HRSS team to ensure new joiners’ user and email accounts are created and shared with their line managers upon joining.
Plan the joining formalities for all new joiners, induction sessions with the relevant department, uniform distribution, desk assignment, etc.
Be responsible for the uniform stock management, ensuring the store always has sufficient numbers to cover current & future needs.
Follow up on probationary reviews (1 month, 3 months, and 5 months) & contract renewals to ensure they are done on time and file the probationary forms in the store HR office for easy retrieval, in liaison with the HRSS team.
Consolidate payroll and leave reports on a monthly basis by reviewing the store exceptions daily.
Maintain records of attendance levels, overtime, turnover %, sick leaves, nationality mix, recruitment tracker, turnover, and holidays in the store.
Support the store management team and HRBP in coordinating casual employee hiring, contracts, and payroll management (invoices) with the outsourcing partner.
Assist the HRBP with specific HR-related projects and participate in functional & cross-functional initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the business strategy & leadership goals.
Work closely with the HRBP on employee engagement activities and organize social events for coworkers and the annual party.
Support the smooth operation of the store departments, such as maintaining records for disciplinary meetings, taking minutes of the disciplinary meetings in the absence of the HRBP, and preparing “Coworker of the month/year” certificates and vouchers.
Ensure that all store stationery/supplies are reviewed regularly and are adequately stocked in the store, as well as order supplies for the store office regularly.
Required Skills to be successful
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and implement.
Good user of MS Office.
Good command of the English language.
What equips you for the role
Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
