In addition this role will be responsible for the management of the retail channels that focus on wireless. Through focusing on these channels we will ensure that we have tight alignment between the carrier and the retailer.This role will lead the carrier teams in the development of their plans to drive Samsung share in both the B2B and B2C segments. The role requires an accomplished sales and business leader who will operationalize this structure and deliver top line results. They will need to evaluate the existing team and develop growth plans as required This is a leader who communicates a vision and establishes an effective feedback loop that provides direction and focus; creates a culture of accountability; and proactively addresses problem performers before they affect team effectiveness. They will have demonstrated skills building and retaining high-performance teams. Rôle et Responsabilités Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership Leads from the front. Communicates effectively up and down. Education/ Knowledge/ Experience/ Competencies Education: University education Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA preferred. Knowledge: Intimate knowledge of Canada’s Wireless sector. Has existing relationships with carriers, distribution, retailers, carrier dealers and channel partners. Experience 15 years of leadership experience preferred. As an individual contributor and sales leader has consistently exceeded revenue and margin targets Proven success in leading sales and cross-functional teams Has led large sales and cross-functional teams Sound knowledge of financial systems Competencies: Resilient, well-paced, flexible. Demonstrated initiative, able to work effectively within time constraints. Able to build and sustain relationships with mid-level and senior client executives.
