/>Job Summary

Maintains and reconciles ledgers and accounts according to generally accepted accounting principles.
Prepares and analyzes financial information, prepares reports and financial statements based upon derived statistics and analysis


1. Prepares monthly bank reconciliations based on general ledger entries and bank

2. Communicates with Campus Departments to resolve reporting issues.

3. Analyzes and forecasts revenue
and expenditure trends.

4. Documents workflow and procedures.

5. Develops accounting systems and documents to support
the input and handling of financial data and reports.

6. Interacts with internal and external auditors and participates in
auditing projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus one year related experience or equivalency required. A thorough understanding of general ledger
accounting practices, cost analysis and accounting principles, as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, human relations and
effective communication skills also required.

Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Access databases may be preferred in some areas.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position


Self starter with aptitude for paying attention to detail and has experience with various
software systems.

Enjoys working with others to solve puzzles.
