Job Overview
Dubai Heights Academy is seeking applications from dynamic and talented Secondary Economics teachers who have excellent subject knowledge and who are able to contribute to continued improvements in progress and student attainment. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach multiple subjects.
We expect all applicants to be well qualified, self-motivated, adaptable, imaginative, and keen to join a team that is committed to academic excellence.
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
A B. Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
At least 3 years experience of the National Curriculum for England
Experience of and ability to offer a second subject such as Maths or Computing is essential
Ability to support transition of the subject into KS5 in readiness for A Level
Experience and knowledge to lead the Business Studies and Economics curriculum
