On behalf of our client, an all-through school in Darlington, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Head of the STEM Faculty and a Teacher of Maths for a permanent job share, 0.6 contract, to start in September 2020.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced part time Teacher of Maths who is passionate about the subject and has high expectations of all students and staff, to job share the exciting role of Assistant Head of the STEM Faculty and lead Maths teaching in the school. This is a rare opportunity to apply for a part time leadership role in a school which fully supports family-friendly, flexible working. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress to their first leadership role as support would be given via the Head of STEM and the experienced job-share partner.

As the Assistant Head of STEM, the successful candidate will lead the teaching of Maths across the school. Therefore, we are looking for excellent classroom practitioners who passionately believe that every student can be a mathematician and have a keen interest in developing pedagogical practice. The STEM faculty are an ambitious, forward looking and positive team who aim to provide the very best STEM education for all students, inspiring the scientists and mathematicians of the future.

The successful candidate will teach Maths at KS3 level and GCSE.

Our client is offering the successful candidate a fully funded NPQML/SL qualification and the salary will be dependant on the point on the pay scale the successful candidate is on, plus a TLR.
