Job Description We are seeking a professional and responsible Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the region. Operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or semi-trailers to transport goods to designated locations Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road Plan and optimize routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and any incidents or delays Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Adapt to various weather conditions and maintain safe driving practices at all times Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and the public Qualifications Valid heavy vehicle driving license required Minimum of 2-3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles High school diploma or equivalent Excellent knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, particularly in the UAEProven track record of safe driving and adherence to transportation laws Basic vehicle maintenance skills Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems Strong time management and organizational skills Effective communication skills in English Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when required Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if needed Familiarity with Dubai's road network and traffic patterns preferred Additional certifications, such as Hazardous Materials endorsement, are a plus Ability to work in various weather conditions typical of Dubai Clean driving record with no major traffic violations Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Civil Engineering
