Responsibilities
Develop and execute trading strategies for agri-commodities like corn, soybean, soybean meals, wheat and edible oils across GCC, Levant, North Africa, Iraq, and Sudan.
Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and buyers across international markets.
Monitor market trends, geopolitical factors, and supply-demand dynamics to optimize trading opportunities.
Expand the company's trading network by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, processors, and logistics providers.
Oversee risk management strategies, including price hedging and market exposure control.
Collaborate with finance, logistics, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of trades.
Explore new trading opportunities in wheat and edible oils to support business expansion.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in commodity trading, with a strong focus on corn and soybean.
Additional experience in wheat and edible oil trading is a plus.
8+ years' experience in commodity trading.
Strong network within the global agribusiness and trading markets.
Expertise in risk management, market analysis, and contract negotiation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Willingness to be based in Dubai and travel as required.
