Seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with 5-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and Dev Ops practices, with expertise in leading cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a key role in optimizing cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP to support data platform initiatives and other data services.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation templates.
Automate cloud operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
Ensure cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Optimize cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost-saving strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with Dev Ops and development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and streamline data service deployments.
Monitor cloud environments using tools like Azure Monitor and Cloud Watch, and set up alerts for proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in cloud engineering, with expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation templates.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Power Shell for automation tasks.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, VPNs, VPCs, and load balancers.
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Git Lab.
Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
