We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team, responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, plywood, and drywall.
Construct and install frameworks, doors, partitions, cabinetry, and other structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Repair and restore damaged or worn structures and fixtures.
Ensure that all work is in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Operate a variety of tools, including saws, drills, planers, and sanders, in a safe and effective manner.
Inspect work in progress to ensure accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines.
Perform routine maintenance on carpentry tools and equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter.
Certification in carpentry or a related field is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Proficient in using various carpentry tools and materials.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments.
Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards is a plus.
