Degree and area of specialization
BA or BS Required- preferably in health care, education, or social science related

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience
The preferred applicant will have:

  • 1 to 3
    years of substantive involvement in education/research programs in a health care setting;
  • Relevant experiences in curriculum
    development, project management, writing, editorial work, and research skills;
  • Experience in implementation of educational
    curriculum and research protocols in health care and educational settings;
  • Experience with UW Health and community based
  • Familiarity with Complementary and Integrative Health;
  • Ability to assess content of scientific literature
    according to given protocol;
  • Knowledge of educational curriculum and research methods;
  • Knowledge of clinical and research
    confidentiality issues;
  • Curriculum development.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
  • Good oral, written
    and interpersonal in-person and over the phone communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently using initiative and good
  • Strong knowledge and skill in computer fundamentals - Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, (web development);

  • Familiarity with editorial skills including manuscript management and formatting.
Candidate must also: have substantial
flexibility in making time and effort commitments and have own means of transportation to various clinic sites.

A period of evaluation will be required.
