LOCATION: Fort McMurray, Alberta (CA-AB)

You will provide asset information management support to the Base Plant business unit projects team, cross functional teams (CFT), and turnaround teams throughout the life cycle of asset information within the Suncor engineering data management systems (EDMS).

You will use your expertise to:
  • Ensure that critical asset information is maintained and updated
  • Collaborate with team members, CFTs and contractors to ensure compliance to Suncor Asset Information standards, procedures, protocols and systems
  • Perform and interpret audits on data to identify compliance to standards, and data quality and completeness
  • Prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting service level agreements
  • Coordinate training requirements on asset information management (AIM) tools if required, and resolves permission and access issues
  • Assist in preparing AIM Key Performance Indicators (KPI) or stewardship and report on the progress of closed and outstanding purchase orders
  • Identify gaps in document management work processes and implement improved processes

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Five years of experience in information management/document control
  • Alignment with our

  • A zero-tolerance for shortcuts, and if the procedure is incorrect, you fix it
Preference for:

  • Experience in heavy oil operations, engineering or construction project environments
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other meaningful information:
  • You will work out of our Base Plant facility in
, Alberta * If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory. Relocation support will be provided; we offer highly competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
