Farm Labourer required for poultry farm in Carrickroe

Daily work will include;

·         Inspecting the flock and mortality disposal

·         Recording feed, water intakes and daily weight gains

·         Maintaining the cleanness of the site,

·         Some light machine maintenance,

·         Assisting with the flock arrival and dispatch

·         Assisting with the cleaning and preparation of houses between flocks

Farm experience and good animal husbandry skills are essential. Excellent communication skills required.

The job requires a responsible and hard working person with a passion for good animal welfare.

Experience with DIY maintenance is an advantage (but not essential) as there is a lot of equipment on site that requires attention at different times, i.e. Breakdowns.

Own transport is essential as the farm is located 18km from Monaghan town.

The work hours are normally between 8am and 6pm.

Weekend and Bank Holiday work is required but compensation is provided
