Job Responsibilities
Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with the hotel’s policies to maximize guest satisfaction.
Be flexible and able to rotate within different sub-departments of the Rooms division or any other departments as assigned.
Ensure guests receive the highest level of personalized service at all times; report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow-up with guests.
Maintain awareness of hotel activities and ensure a proper handover of pending points for the next shift’s follow-up and action.
Be knowledgeable of all hotel services, facilities, and promotions, and upselling techniques.
Balance cash reports and remittance envelopes at the end of the shift; perform opening and closing procedures.
Check and update the allocation of rooms for all guests and follow up on special requirements requested by guests.
Maintain regular contact with long-stay and suite guests to ensure their stays are enjoyable.
Maintain a high standard of grooming and hygiene at all times.
Foster a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues and all other departments.
Provide full support to Supervisors and team; perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
