Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Dean,
the Administrative Program Coordinator, Executive Education will collaborate with business development, marketing and faculty to plan,
market, deliver and evaluate non-degree courses and educational programs for corporate partners. The coordinator wears several hats
including project manager, sales support, customer service, and facilitator. The result of their world-class service is increased
profitability for partners, partner employee education, and growth for the business school.


Business Development Team Collaboration:

  • Significant interpersonal communication with business development
    and marketing teams, clients and prospective class participants over the phone, in-person and through e-mail.
  • Assist in the
    development of proposals, presentations, coordination of faculty and completing required documentation for curriculum development.

  • Identify and generate new business leads and respond to initial participant inquiries and investigate client opportunities.

  • Using a consultative approach, the Administrative Program Coordinator, Executive Education works with the business development team to
    create innovative learning experiences that address the client's needs and deliver long?term value. Overall, customer orientation, people
    skills, experience with executive audiences and consultative selling skills are critical to success in the role.
  • Attention to
    detail is necessary as this position will also actively prepare and report on opportunity pipelines, progress on key metrics and business

Class/Conference Management:

  • Plan, implement and ensure quality of class days by
    communicating with and making appropriate arrangements for faculty, classroom logistics and anything else that will optimize the participant
    experience. This includes classroom reservations, snack and meals, IT/AV and equipment, course materials, classroom set-up and clean-up and
    any issues related to participant needs for class.
  • Serve as a resource for class participants to answer questions and advise on
    issues associated with all components of the program.
  • Accurately represent executive education programs and the university. Be
    responsible for making decisions (in partnership with Manager) related to running the program in an effective and conscientious manner.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed event records and collect records of suggested improvements for future events.
  • Work with Manager
    on evaluation for events, new programs and other projects as assigned.
  • Budget tracking, reconciling bills and billing them to the
    appropriate account.
  • Work flexibly according to client needs and deadlines, which may include evenings and weekends.
  • The

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one
year directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to
program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations
and effective communication skills are also required.

  • Bachelor's degree in
    business, marketing, communications, management, organizational development, or related field from an accredited college or university, plus
    four years of related experience or equivalency.
  • Experience recording client interactions into a CRM such
    as Salesforce.
  • Project Management or Events Management experience a plus.
  • Academic Institution experience a plus.

  • Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills and the ability to relate well to working professional and executives.

  • Results oriented and achievement driven.
  • Ability to "close" client opportunities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Collaborative in approach and open to new concepts and ideas.
  • Ability to work independently, especially in the
    area of arranging and conducting on-site information meetings and influencer visits.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency
    in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Be able to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Professional
    business attire required.
