A busy and growing clinic in East Hartford, CT is currently seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer Check out the details below: Title: Chief Medical Officer Job Type: Permanent - Direct Hire Setting: Outpatient - Clinic Location: East Hartford, CT Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri, Day Hours Pay: $240K-$260K based on experience plus a full benefits package The Chief Medical Officer oversees and directs overall delivery of patient services and care. Will perform duties to include but may not be limited to: -Serves as a liaison to local, state, professional societies, healthcare organizations, and education facilities -Provides leadership and management to the clinical division alongside the Chief Executive Officer -Maintain direct patient care responsibilities with the division of time between clinical and administrative duties -Oversee and manage budgeting, staffing, and operations -Planning and organizing daily regarding clinical operations, community activities, QA/PI Plan, clinical research, clinical objectives, and clinical innovation REQUIREMENTS: -M.D. Degree from an accredited Medical School -Connecticut State Licensure -Documented completion of a residency from an accredited institution in a primary care specialty -Board Certification or Board Eligibility -Minimum two years of experience in healthcare administration -Admitting privileges in local hospitals -Ability to write and administer grants
