We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with clients by phone, through email, and face-to-face to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires.
Acting as the client’s representative to ensure their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
Stay on top of accounts, ensuring services meet their budget and needs.
Meet regularly with team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
Requirements
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
